These pelts are beautiful!

The western Montana coyote is considered the best coyote in the world. The long and silky fur are sought after by furriers worldwide. And yes, we have a batch that will knock your socks off. You won't be disappointed! 

Joe Namath's famous picture of him wearing a coyote fur coat, consisted of Montana coyotes. 

• These have dense, long fur and a nice soft tan on the hide.

• These Western coyotes are lighter in color than their Eastern counterparts, and the fur is much softer.

• Pelts measure between 50" and 60" from tip-to-tip and are available in several grades.

• Premium Grade-pelts have a nice face with no rubs, full ears, a full tail, and no or tiny superficial holes in the hide (due to stretching during the tanning process). These are perfect for display or sewing!
  

• Medium Grade-faces may have larger or imperfect eye holes, will have full tails, may have small hole(s) in the hide. These pelts are very suitable for sewing projects.
  

• Imperfect Grade -may have an imperfect face or missing ear(s), hide may have small holes/tears, fur may have rubs, hide may have a short, imperfect or missing tail. Most of these are still great for accent throw pieces and are very suitable for sewing projects.
