Brush-Tail Opossum, Sheared & Dressed

The hollow core fiber structure of brushtail possum fur ensures that it doesn't freeze, providing warmth and protection against extreme cold. It's fur is reportedly 8% warmer than wool, 35% warmer than cashmere and 50% warmer than merino wool. This makes brushtail possum fur perfect for coats, cloaks, scarves, hats, mittens and other cold weather garments! They would even make a fabulous rug or throw blanket! It is also eco-friendly as they are harvested from New Zealand where they are an invasive species.

-These are sheared pelts, meaning that the long hairs and course guard hairs have been shaved, leaving short and velvet soft fur.
-Each pelt measures between 21" to 24" in length and roughly 10" in width.
-All are tan to light-tan in color.
